Frinton & Walton Heritage Trust
Weekly Coffee Mornings at the Frinton Crossing Cottage
from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon starting from Tuesday, 14 April 2009.
Winter Coffee Mornings are on a monthly basis from 20 October 2009.

Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 21 April 2009
in the Frinton Methodist Church Hall, 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm.

Spring Fair to be held on Saturday, 16 May 2009 and Autumn Fayre/Apple
Day to be held on Saturday, 10 October 2009. Both take place in the Frinton Crossing Cottage Garden from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm.

Walton Maritime Museum will be open daily from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
from Wednesday, 1 July until the end of September 2009
for the Summer Exhibition "An Architect's Impression".

Friday, 1 January 2010: New Year's Day Walk followed by mulled wine and shared
food back at the Cottage. Meet at the Cottage at 11.00 am.

The Christmas Festival
held in Connaught Avenue, Frinton-on-Sea

Organised each year by The Frinton, Walton & Local Villages Chamber of Commerce.
NB It may not be possible for this to take place in 2009 because of the planned major refurbishment of Connaught Avenue.

Further events take place throughout the year at the Cricket Club,
the Frinton Golf Club, and the Frinton Lawn Tennis Club

Neighbourhood Action Panel - public meetings take place every other month at Soken House, in The Triangle Shopping Centre from 7.30 pm.

Tuesday, 2 February 2010: "Behind the Scenes at the London Marathon", by James Clarke OBE who has been involved with the Marathon since its inception and Chairman for 16 years from 1993 to 2009.

Tuesday, 2 March 2010: "The Martello Towers of the Tendring Hundred Coastline". An illustrated talk by local historian Roger Kennell.

Tuesday, 6 March 2010: "A Glimpse of Central America". An illustrated talk by Trust members, Peter and Ruth Baldwin.
